Draw Something… so addicting!

Dad mentioned he wanted an app on the iPad which would let him draw. While browsing the App Store, I thought this is what Draw Something actually did. But it turned out to be such an addictive game! I love it.. more so ‘coz I always loved playing Pictionary & miss doing that with friends. This is a fun way to play something like that with random online players. Found it on Android too.. awesome!

My new “phlog”

… apparently that is a synonym for photoblog.

Photoblogging is something I always wanted to do. I did make attempts at creating blogs with pics that don’t generally go into the occasional albums you upload using Picasa. I wanted something less boring than that and also a lot lazier option than designing a personal photo website. The photoblog themes on WordPress are really cool (I liked Autofocus best), but still I wanted something different, not necessarily better.

Recently I noticed the Android Market sport an app – Lightbox. Seeing the attractive promo pic, I couldn’t help but try it out (yes I ALWAYS fall for the looks!).

Well I’m glad I did, ‘coz sharing my random pics is now a breeze…

U-Turn

Watched a Marathi play at Vishnudas Bhave, Vashi. Did something like that after 4 years! We used to do it very often when I was in school. Should certainly start again :)

What was also special about today is that Mom met her childhood friend after 34 years! I used to hear a lot about Meera Maushi, but until a few days back, I didn’t realize that they’d been friends since they were 12 and had not met in so many years. I wonder how they’ve managed to be out of touch & still be so so excited & happy to see each other again.

But yes, it happened to me too, just a few days ago, when my school friend Devanshu appeared on Facebook out of nowhere! It was so great catching up & remembering those silly things we did in school :D Even his Mom remembered me… how sweet :)

I guess everyone makes loads of friends in life, but very few are lucky to have friends that remember you no matter what & catch up with you no matter how many long years have flown by. The last few days have been full of reunions.. hey, another close friend of mine had a college reunion today. I’m glad he’s going to be happy & excited too. Wish things like these happen more often!

So well, this post doesn’t really talk about U-Turn, the Marathi play. It’s a very good play though, just 2 people acting. Dad loved it. Must watch! :)

Too many tweets?

Yeah my twitter was overflowing with tweets. Either ways I was never reading ALL of them. I’d started using Tweetdeck in between, but still it was out of control. I knew I needed to unfollow some people & I did.

But today I came across this article on Lifehacker and it talks ManageFlitter. It filters tweeters by “Talkative”, “Quiet”, “Not following back”, “Inactive” … just makes unfollowing easier :) I’m sure all you guys on twitter need this.

Set your goals with Goalscape :)

While checking out what’s new on Adobe AIR, I came across this goal tracking software – Goalscape.

Too bad it is not for free & my trial version will be over soon. But I really loved the way you can arrange your goals & break them into mini sub-goals.. easier to track, easier to achieve :) The sub-goals can be given weight in %age & they will adjust their sizes around their parent goal in segments. Pretty cool & worth trying out.
