BBC.. a recent favorite

British Brewing Company on the top floor of Inorbit Vashi is a place I want to goto again2015-03-17 22.27.57 and again… and that would be just for the Minestrone Soup! Everywhere else I found funny versions of the soup & never the real deal. Though the soup here has the beans missing, it is still pretty good. And good for me means zero chilly :)

They also have a super tasty main course that serves 3 huge sausages.. no I mean really HUGE. Like 1 per person you know. And that’s served with a generous portion of mashed potatoes and delicious buttered veggies. I want to eat that one more time, but will need to go hungry for a day before I can eat all of that :D

My recent night cream

When I was a child and watched Mom work in her salon, she always spoke about how “35” was the age post which facials, egg-white face packs, night creams, etc, etc regimens become mandatory. Well, she never meant for me to interpret I shouldn’t care before that at all. But since “that” birthday just happened this year,
I was in search of a good night cream thinking let’s make the number an excuse to start.

Just like all the things I shop for, the first cream I laid my eyes on has suited me well for more than a month now. The night cream in the Shiso Whitening category by The Body Shop has nothing to do with whitening (is what the guy there said to me) and actually keeps the complexion clearer. Not meant for oily skin types.

Panini at Costa Coffee

So after a very long time I went to Costa Coffee, alone like last time. And there was one last piece left of a Smoked Chicken & Gouda Cheese Panini. The combination of that grilled Panini along with a tall glass of Mint Lemonade was divine! A must-have when you want to grab a quick bite. It will be on my favorite list (called All-Those-Definitely-Zero-Chilly-Items-That-I-Can-Eat) and a pakka preference whenever I goto Inorbit from now on :) :) Strongly recommended if you have taste buds like mine.

Buying MP3 online – service discontinued :(

I remember about more than a year ago when I decided to only “buy” music, movies, ebooks & software (AND purge everything else that was not paid for), I was having a hard time finding all my favorite songs. Unlike iTunes in the US, there was nothing online to help me pay for & download the songs I wanted.. until Flipkart came up with their Flyte section. It was such a blessing!

At first, they used to allow downloading a song only 4 times after buying it, but now that’s become unlimited. And my most recent purchase was free too ‘coz I found some bonus 200 bucks in the Flipkart Wallet; really great!

Flipkart is already known for their good customer support & home delivery, but I really insist you use it for buying your MP3s too.. they hardly cost much :)

Draw Something… so addicting!

Dad mentioned he wanted an app on the iPad which would let him draw. While browsing the App Store, I thought this is what Draw Something actually did. But it turned out to be such an addictive game! I love it.. more so ‘coz I always loved playing Pictionary & miss doing that with friends. This is a fun way to play something like that with random online players. Found it on Android too.. awesome!

My new “phlog”

… apparently that is a synonym for photoblog.

Photoblogging is something I always wanted to do. I did make attempts at creating blogs with pics that don’t generally go into the occasional albums you upload using Picasa. I wanted something less boring than that and also a lot lazier option than designing a personal photo website. The photoblog themes on WordPress are really cool (I liked Autofocus best), but still I wanted something different, not necessarily better.

Recently I noticed the Android Market sport an app – Lightbox. Seeing the attractive promo pic, I couldn’t help but try it out (yes I ALWAYS fall for the looks!).

Well I’m glad I did, ‘coz sharing my random pics is now a breeze…
